Walking past the abandoned buildings in the Bronx , NY. I noticed that whenever We came to an unbroken window or pane of glass. My friends and I would instinctively look around for something to throw at it. It was as if it offended us to see something pure, unbroken and undisturbed. I would re encounter this phenomenon throughout my life. At times, I was the pane of glass.
We’ve been married for 27 years and today we gave away our 2nd daughter in marriage. The Lord has blesded us immeasurably yet my wife is still shocked at the way that some people choose to object to or criticize all that we do. I look at her and sing the Taylor Swift song….
"So don’t you worry your pretty little mind, People throw rocks at things that shine But they can’t take what’s ours, The stakes are high, The waters rough, But this love is ours"
Just be grateful for those that give us unconditional love and support.
